Karen Hewitt is committed to doing the work of creating experiences that connect, foster belonging, and create community. She is a non-negotiable stand for the most vulnerable and the dignity and value of every human life. Currently, Karen is a highly requested speaker and facilitator and is considered a subject matter expert in the areas of: Gender and Sexuality, Intersectionality, Diversity Management, Leadership Development and Team Building; centering Black and LGBTQ+ experiences and wisdom. Ze is a published author and poet and has traveled nationally to perform poetry, singing, drumming and improv comedy and poetry.

I am a curious learner, eager to interrogate the systems that be and the status quo and deconstruct what that means and who it impacts.

I am a visionary that looks hopefully into the future to imagine what is possible.

I am a space holder, able to hold rooms of energy and often discomfort to unify around the dignity of every human life.

I am a linguist, a writer, a poet, an artist, painting words with my heart, channeling synthesis.

Forging connections with sound. And my primary goal is to sit with and connect to my inner radiance.
